Why do I need to be verified before I can invest?

We are required by anti-money laundering regulations to verify the identities of our investors. This is required before you can make your first investment.

When you complete your details on Growthdeck, we will try and verify you automatically, using an external database. Occasionally, however, we may be unable to do this successfully. There are a number of possible reasons: you have recently moved house, or the database does not cover the place where you live, or just data entry error.

If we are unable to verify you automatically, then we will need to verify your identity using documents as evidence of your identity and address. Our Client Services team will contact you and request certain documents to complete the process.
